My 96 ST is idling low and rough, so I checked the fault codes and got 2:
P0130 O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1) P0133 O2 Sensor CKT Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1) Does this mean replace the O2 Sensor, and if so, which one (Cali car)? |

His ECU is MAP based. A vacuum leak won't cause a rough idle. Check your brake light circuit connections and grounds. Could also be a weak battery, wouldn't hurt to have it and the alt tested. -------------------- ![]() |

QUOTE(alltracman78 @ Oct 7, 2007 - 5:34 PM) ^ His ECU is MAP based. A vacuum leak won't cause a rough idle. Check your brake light circuit connections and grounds. Could also be a weak battery, wouldn't hurt to have it and the alt tested. No braking issues. My battery is definitely not new...leaks. Was planning on replacing it anyway, so I'll do that. Thanks for the advice. |
