Just fired up the ST205 swap for the first time about 10 minutes ago.
![]() There was a wiring issue that was preventing me from completing the starter circuit, but i figured it out now. It's been a painfully exhausting couple of weeks trying to get everything done, but all is well so far...Theres no leaks, no CEL's, absolutely perfect idle, proper vacuum and oil pressure, and it sounds mean as hell too. Best part is, I happened to video the very first startup of the car with my camera, complete with fire extinguisher on hand. haha. I'll post up stuff soon, I'm gonna go torque things down so I can drive it. Thanks to everyone thats made this possible. ![]() -Corey -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |

This car now hauls ass, its great.
![]() I went for a couple of open-downpipe drives last night and it feels really good. Only issues right now are that the right axle seal on the trans is leaking a bit of fluid, and the motor is running pretty hot. I'm pretty sure the high temps are because I'm still working air out of the system though, we'll see. For now I need to go get more coolant so I can drive it again. j0e_p3t, the stock hood clears the intercooler just fine. I'd really like to personally thank Jeff (defgeph) and Steve (Punisher) for being great friends to me through the swap, you guys rock. EDIT: I'll put up pics and videos once I have some free time tommorrow and access to high speed again.
