 upgraded cams for 7afe HELP |

ok i just got sum upgraded cams for the 7afe there from japan and offer 14-18 more hp..i was told ther a striat drop in other than having to get shims for the vavles, and reseting the timming after installed..my question is how do u go about getting these shims, and how do u install the shims...or better yet a whole how to for the whole install and setting timming....any info or sugestions help thanx Lance

hm... frm the code u gave, somehow gave me the feeling its for 5A usage. nvrtheless, i shld not jump to conclusion. i need more info for the cam before going ahead and purchase it. Cam duration, lift? try to post with a pic. Tks

Tks hmm.. could be for the 5a but the cams are set up just like the 7a's cams im goin to try to get into contact with my budy who is in japan right now for toyota so hopefully i can get the specs n all the info on these cams...as far as pics ill try to get sum up on here 2day....from what he told me they are a strait drop in just have to set the timming after the install cause u have to re-shim the valves....im goin to ask a shop 2day how u do this... pics are on my profile...cams and my t3 man..
