i was recently talking to a co-worker who has a turbo 1.5 non v-tec del sol with 191 whp. He was talking about a program called step boost that he was going to put in his car. Has anyone ever heard of this for celicas? or is it just a honda thing?

stagged boost control is a common function through out turbo'd cars with the proper controllers. its a universal type deal not really car specific (though you can find car specific setup applications)
even Turboxs offers staged Manual boost controllers, but its not very well known/used tool/setup around these parts. This post has been edited by playr158: Oct 15, 2007 - 8:43 AM |

QUOTE(playr158 @ Oct 15, 2007 - 8:43 AM) stagged boost control is a common function through out turbo'd cars with the proper controllers. its a universal type deal not really car specific (though you can find car specific setup applications) even Turboxs offers staged Manual boost controllers, but its not very well known/used tool/setup around these parts. oh ok, well the guy said he had to drive to ohio to get it programmed and he said the program was only for hondas so it makes sense that you have to program your standalone to have step boost ... thanks playr. -------------------- ![]() |
