 New member needs help, Strange noise from boot |

Hi I have a 99 celica ss3 There is a strange noise coming from the boot like the door is open but its not i have tryed everything and cant find the problem Would it be the shock mountings How would you know if they were gone?Can anyone help plsss

Its weird noise its like the boot door is open are the lock is faulty,Would the shock mountings make noise if they were gone?
