 New member needs help, Strange noise from boot |

Hi I have a 99 celica ss3 There is a strange noise coming from the boot like the door is open but its not i have tryed everything and cant find the problem Would it be the shock mountings How would you know if they were gone?Can anyone help plsss

Ok if the top mounts are gone would that make the car more bouncy?Sorry bout all the questions but im a learner lol and if i got the Tein super street dampers would that make a harsh ride cos the roads over here are crap
