hey guys im new here obviously and i have been on these forums as well as many others researching FI for my 99 Celi GT So far its only been a headache. I have recently bought my car more out of looks then researching the engine first so when i bought it it was in my mind going to be more of a hobby for me considering ive never owned a tuner type car before my previous car being a 95 Lincoln town car.To my enormous displeasure ive found that most turbo kits and even possibly the only supercharger to come out for the 5sfe engine are no longer in circulation ive seriously been considering nitrous oxide lately or even an electric supercharger but the overall response on these forums has been a resounding "not a good idea" i eventually want to get another car but seeing as how this is my daily driver and i do like to go to the track at the race legal program they have here i know that if im to participate and actually be successful im going to have to seriously do something. So my question is to you my fellow 6g owners where can i get a full turbo kit for my car fuel pump injectors and everything...or a supercharger which i know must be a near impossibility and lastly should i just leave nitrous oxide out of the question completely? I really don't have the resources or time to hunt down all the parts and build the kit myself nor can i simply do an engine swap i need my car and i don't have the downtime but a weekend on installing a turbo kit don't sound to bad Oh and on top of that my car is an automatic i know thats bad but is there any hope for me at all???? any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Buriens kit would still involve instalation. That seems to be your issue which is the down time. Buriens settup is even more "Old school" then my origional 5sfte post and there are alot of things it was missing. Their kit may have been easy to buy and get your basic parts knocked out of the way but you can easly build a better basic settup for much less then their sale price.
Your best bet is to make your parts list and search the forums for where others got their stuff. Read about what works and what hasn't and start searching for parts. Tossing a WTB thread up on the alltrac and mr2 forums for a manifold/turbo/coolent/oil/oil pan/map settup will get you a flood of replys in a very short time. From there you need injectors and piping and you have what burien would have sold you. -------------------- Member of Team 5sfTe
