Currently rebuilding my 5SFE and I am taking my block to the local machine shop. $30 per cylinder. Would there be any significant increase if I went .02 (.5mm) over? Also what else would I need besides new pistons and rings?

QUOTE(cv7713 @ Oct 19, 2007 - 11:38 PM) should I shave a little bit off of the head? You can... again, considered maintenance... but if you plan to turbo... probably best not to because machining to head can somewhat increase compression. -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl...
