I'm so sick of working at Autozone. I took the job there too in hopes that I can receive discounts of parts and I did which is 20%. Not including sparkplugs, oil and anything else that I should say I need the most. Then as soon as I join I found out that you could still get 20% off everything if you spend 20$ or more 5 times. 5hit If I knew this I wouldn't have even cared to join.

The working enviroment sucks, pay sucks ($8), having to wear a red shirt and be bossed around all the time and so many other crap. I would personally say that for the last month of working there it has been one of the most boring 5hi**s job I have ever had. I think Oreilly's was even better at least I got better discounts, commissioned pay for every parts sold, and had some people who actually cared about their jobs.

At Autozone, your just another # and getting the customers to spend away there life is your main goal. Trust me I know!

With the SO many mistakes that you guys come across with the axle problems I'm supprized that some of you still shop there.

Dude, down here in FLORIDA, there are only 3 shops you can get oil and filters at. Autozone, Discount Auto Parts, and Pep Boys. And I'm not gonna include Walmart cuz they suck. All in which are the same. Only difference is a couple cents. I only shop at Autozone for maintenance stuff. Not only that but I got the Loyalty card so that I can save up money everytime I shop there for oil and filter. And that's the only thing I shop for when I go there. But there are alot of places that you can go to for parts excluding those. ALOT of junkyards around here too that you can pull off parts for CHEAP. I pulled out the whole front passanger side suspension (struts, springs, bearings, tie bars, knuckles, axles, etc etc.) for $80! That's when I got into an accident and my car looked like Back to the Future wheels and I had to fix it myself cuz I didn't want to pay money up the arss to fix it.

But thanks for the heads up soulshadow. Cuz I was planning on applying there. But I'm having second thoughts. I'm trying to find a good working place that pays $10+ that isn't a restaurant job.
