So, i have Steam, Half-Life 2 and a few other Steam games installed on my computer from back when half life 2 came out, but ive went onto steams website within the last month *first time in like..a year*, and it now says that certain games, IE counterstrike soruce, you have to pay for now. My question is, when I update steam *havent done so, or used it for...almost 2 years now*, will i have to pay to be able 2 play the games i already have?..or will they just automaticly update?? Im just curious if im gonna need to pay to get counterstrike back and running again.
I honestly donno if my half life 2 will work or not because im pretty sure i had some part of the files deleted when my computer got cleaned up from a virus. I havent been able to try yet because after they cleaned up my computer, they put some firewall settins or something up, so i cant log onto MSN, Steam or go onto any secured site. |

Hey wait! You don't need the install CD's to get the game, you can download it off Steam.
BUT If you only have half life 2, you could get 4 new games from ORange Box which is what I did this morning AND if you already have the original hl2, you can give it to a friend as a gift for free! also, if you have steam, you can purchase things online, and i believe they use paypal so if you have paypal dollars you can use that -------------------- |
