 Optima Battery / Red or Yellow Top, What do you have? |

I am going to buy an Optima battery but am unsure which one to get. Is the red top sufficient? I am also installing a 170 amp high output alternator.
What is the difference between to two batteries? Cranking amps? Do you like yours? |

lol.... yes, but they last twice as long as a regular battery which is $50-70 (x2 $100-140). plus the advantages of the optimas... you need to see if it is worth it personally. I am a electronic fanatic and the importance of a good battery, alternator, and wiring is priceless!
