I have to replace all the keys and the alarm system on my car...would any toyota key assembly work or does it have to be a 6th gen celica/any celica??? thnx guys

But if they didn't get his wallet, and he wasn't mugged by someone he knows, then the people don't know where he lives or which Toyota he drives, much less if it's a Celica.
If you provide proof of ownership (registration and insurance w/VIN number) and a driver's license, a Toyota dealership can make a new master key that will work on the doors and the ignition. As for replacing the door locks and ignition, maybe consult w/a dealership FIRST to make sure you get the necessary codes off the new parts so they can make a master? Assuming the parts all come off the same car. I lived in NYC 10 years and that never happened to me. I know you're in northern NJ, but still, it sucks when things like that happen, especially when it just plays into everyone else's idea of what it's like there. It's not really like that! (Unless you're in Newark or Trenton, then I take it back and you're lucky you even still HAVE a car!) Glad you're okay though. ![]() -------------------- ![]() |
