Question for HL2 players, havent used steam for awhile...well..more like 2 years Options

So, i have Steam, Half-Life 2 and a few other Steam games installed on my computer from back when half life 2 came out, but ive went onto steams website within the last month *first time in like..a year*, and it now says that certain games, IE counterstrike soruce, you have to pay for now. My question is, when I update steam *havent done so, or used it for...almost 2 years now*, will i have to pay to be able 2 play the games i already have?..or will they just automaticly update?? Im just curious if im gonna need to pay to get counterstrike back and running again.

I honestly donno if my half life 2 will work or not because im pretty sure i had some part of the files deleted when my computer got cleaned up from a virus. I havent been able to try yet because after they cleaned up my computer, they put some firewall settins or something up, so i cant log onto MSN, Steam or go onto any secured site.

i brought it in to clear off some spywear and virsus that my cousin managed to download when he was over like...a year and a half ago, and i never got around to clearin it off, so i got them to clean it up..brought it home, and i couldnt log on to any secure sites, IE facebook, hotmail, steam, msn, any thing that essentialy needed a password. So i brought it back to them today, got it all fixed up, didnt charge me a cent for it, and now im up and running. Im installing the new steam and orange box as we speak. Try re-adding me in about 2 hours time, i just got this all set-up and i gotta try and figure out how this new system all works
