Will a 3s Auto tranny work with 3sgte Options

Whats up my celica is auto right now and i dont wanna do the manual conversion just yet but want to go 3sgte will the 3s auto tranny bolt up to the 3sgte motor and how would it work on the ecu is this possiable

from what your profile says, my answer is no.

u have an ST. that has the 7afe motor. That tranny WILL NOT mate with the 3sgte.

as for being auto, u could do it, but Wannabegt4 on this site did that, and he (to my knowledged) blew his tranny, the GT auto tranny couldnt handle the HP.

if u want to go auto, on a 3s....go with the Auto v6 solara tranny. a bit more work. but it should hold the power.

the problem there mig is CONTROLING the solara tranny.
like art said 3sgte + auto tranny = teh suxors.
if your not ready to swap to a manual, then your not ready to swap, period.
