whenever i coem to a full stop and try to turn left it makes this sound like belts are streaking on somethin but i dont see anything wrong under the hood....can the timin belt be out, wheel bearings? oh btw, i was changing the oil and auto tranny fluid yesterday after i lowered the car for a quick test drive, the car started to make this sound whenever i make a sharp left turn at ultra-low speed (0-5 mph).
the pass. side wheel has always made this sound liek teh dust shield is rubbing against the rotors and i made all the modifications to make the shield not do that anymore but its not working.....from this short description, can you guys/girls help me troubleshoot this problem im having? any help be great.....thanks for reading.... -------------------- ![]() |

I've already saw this exact same problem on a Chevy Cavalier. I know it's not the same car, but maybe it'll lead you to sumthin'. It was the front brake pads, lacking lubricants, in contact points on the caliper support. The pads was "sqweaking" on the support. Is that sound's still there when u apply the brakes? If not, pretty shure it's that.
