So I hit 200,000 today, and then some. So besides the fact that the motor, transmission, suspension, interior, paint and wheels don't have it, the rest does

245,487 miles
Celica ST I believe a wheel bearing in the rear passenger is going out, the shift boot is tore up, and the engine is eating a quart every 1500 to 2000 miles. Other than that - the engine runs fantastic (easy starts, pulls well etc). There's no oil spots when I park, and I have a new clutch. Myself and my friend who owned it before me are fanatics about changing the oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles (and other maintenance) . I'm sure that's why she's still going. I'd imagine the rings or the valve seals are leaking out the oil, and the engine will need replacing... just not sure when? I may sense a V6 swap in my future ![]() This post has been edited by Jeremiah: Nov 2, 2007 - 12:06 PM |
