I was thinking of replacing the stock downpipe and replacing it with a aftermarket.
From what i have read, the ebay specials are not that great. what I am thinking is keepint the stock and not worring about it cracking or having to remove the sensors to put them in a new downpipe. Really, how much power will I gain? -------------------- ![]() |

replacing the stock downpipe with a aftermarket one from ebay or wherevere, will gain you about 20hp, it will be noticable the power gain. and the internal wastegate sounds nicer... gives the car a throatier tone.
removing the sensors is easy.. its just 2 bolts and then you pull it out and stick it into the new downpipe... plug and play basically. ummm i would recomend with the new downpipe, that you heatwrap it from the turbo to 1/2 or 3/4 the way down. this will greatly reduce under bonnent temps. |
