did the 3sge beams ever come manual???? or are they all auto?????

I too was looking into this a while back. I went down to the local speed shop and spoke with the owner about completing a BEAMS swap, and what is the pricing for sourcing all of the needed parts.. He stared at me, smacked me, and said "stick with the 4A Blacktop".
The truth is, is that you can find the BEAMS engine, and it will cost you. Now once you get it in you'll be fine.... until it breaks. Then what are you going to do? It wasn't ever brought to America (maybe some Rav4's have it over here?) and is even uncommon in other countries, so if (and when) it does break on you, you might be down for months before finding and spending a fourtune on the replacement parts. -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money
