I have been wanting to get a larger intercooler for my car since the day I got it but there is the awkward metal bumber thing in the way. I have noticed some people have just cut it for the space with what im assuming was a metal jigsaw or something. Does that bar really do all that much and is it ok to slice it up so i can fit in a larger intercooler?

QUOTE(95CelicaST @ Nov 8, 2007 - 8:43 PM) QUOTE somehow i dont think that crash bar will save ur life.. i think it is only made to withstand impacts of 8km/h... Would you rather get in a crash with it or without it? its very thin, aluminum. its meant to protect your bumper form small parking accidents. not the type of thing that will save your life. the gt4 one is thinner, but you need the bar and the brackets. the brackets take at least a month or more to get in stock. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
