I was wondering what I could do to protect rubber hoses that are going to be in high heat areas. I remeber this one time at a car show I saw a TT supra that had some kind of wrap that looked like aluminum foil wrapped around a bunch of hoses and wires that were near his turbos. I was looking for something like that, but I'm open to other options. suggestions?

After I pulled my turbo off and everything I noticed I was leaking coolant slowly and realized I had just barely burnt through one of the oil cooler hoses. I replaced it, but now I want to make sure it doesn't happen again.
