What would be better to swap in, A 3rd gen 3sgte or a 4th gen 3sgte??

The third gen will be the first choice for most people. That said, I've wired up a number of fourth gens and personally swapped one, and I think they are great. The intake manifold design is far superior to earlier versions. The turbo setup is very reliable and makes great power (270whp at 15psi with NO TUNING). The coil on plug ignition is a sweet setup too.
