Hi new user to the site here any help or thoughts would be great.

I have a 1998 SS111 with the beams engine problem is once I hit about 190kmph there is a massive loss of power and preformance stops.

Now I understand there to be a speed limiter on the car to stop the boys out running the cops in japan but I live in Ireland and have a 20km strip of motorway that I have only once ever seen a cop on in 4 years.

So here lies the problem........ How do I get rid of this stupid device?????????

Cheers in advance..

Noel

Job done........

APEXI RSM REV/SPEED METER FITTED.

Pretty cool little toy not only does it turn off the speed limiter it gives you all sort of details such as 0 - 60 Trip computer, tells you how much G force when stopping taking off and in the bends. You can set different speeds so it will flash when your breaking the limit or even limit the car to the national speed limit. Pretty cool display too I have it sitting in the very corner of the dash just at the bottom of the A pillar so s flick of the eye to the right I get my speed and my revs on a cool blue digital display.

Will be posting some pics soon just changing the wheels this week.
