Personal experience time: I didn't hit a curb, but I did hit a concrete freeway divider after sliding through some deep water. No body damage but the wheel took all the force. I had to replace the spindle, lower control arm, lower ball joint, cv knuckle, bearing housing (it was completely locked), and had to get new camber kits and a realign.

Sum up: a lot of parts equaling almost a grand and a lot of work. Just thankful i didn't lose the rim.

"What?"
"Just do it."
".......He said yes."
"Tell him you are not darklings. He should open up."
".......Sweet. Thanks."
"No problem."
