I want to make sure this is an ok place to tap into for my boost gauge. This is a jdm 3sgte st205 and I'm currently tapped into the line that goes into my BOV. I tried tapping into the line suggested on the st205 repair / maintance sticky, but had limited results. I'm currently reading -15 at idle. It increases through the gears, but really jumps in 3rd to 18psi when I get on it. Just want to make sure this is an ok place and these readings are ok. Pardon the tape...it's temperary for now. Thanks for you help.

I dunno about the 3sgte, but the 5sfe has little nipples off the intake manifold that are capped off. remove one of the caps and voila! I'm not really sure, but placing it there may interfere with the BOV operation.
