How much are they going for? And I read on here that you need some kind of conversion kit, or hook-up assembly or something?

Tails are ~200 and are plug and play. Nothing special required if you get the tail lights with the JDM harnes. The USDM tail light harness has one extra bulb which you would just unplug.
