Eh...this sucks, got the 3SGTE and since it won't pass smog and it seemed we were going to have some complications in putting it in, I decided to give it up and just put the Burrien turbo onto the 5SFE.
I think I would need metal head gasket, FMIC, Forged Pistons, and camshafts for going high hp? Where can I get the cam shafts and forged pistons. Is webcams cam shaft good for the turbo kit I want? Thanks |

Umm... dude... yes, a JDM motor WILL pass smog... it may not pass visually, but it WILL pass with flying colors... Now since your dad owns a shop, the visual inspection (of the EGR) should not be an issue... Now install that 3S, throw it on the rack... and test it...
