3s vs 4g, are we no match? Options

whats the deal with the 4g63? is the evo's engine so much better than our gt-four's engine? they're both 2.0, 4-cyl, single turbo, how are the mechanics of the internal? does the 4g have better internals for more output or what?

Like if there was a 4g swapped lancer and a 3s swapped gt/st, what do you think the results will be?

the reason i ask is, i know a evo owner and adding simple things to his 4g adds so much ps and it frightens me... with a street tune up, evo mr turbo or some sort of turbo upgrade, and exhaust, along with other minor things and he's hitting 450ps. us 6gc'ers with the 3s swap is working hard and going through so much trouble and still only hitting little over 300ps.... Is the 4g that much better? i feel great jealousy... i want to cry a little...

does anyone know the stock psi of the 4G in the 8 compared to the 3S in the 205? could this be something i should take into consideration?

There is nothing about the 4g63 thats all that much better. The main difference comes from the fact that the 4g63's always came with a much bigger turbo then the stock ct26. Go upgrade the turbo on the 3s and you'll have a whole new car.

The EVO also gives you the ability to reflash the stock ecu, and change the fuel/timing maps to anything you want. Thats a big bouns over the 1990s 3sgte technology.
