For all you auto guys out there who didn't think shift knobs were an option.... they are!
Levoc makes a really sweet set of shift knobs that work REALLY well, also, there are many universal shif knobs out there. I was hesitant about doing this at first because the overdrive button. DO IT, there are no problems with it, just get any old shift knob that looks good, and rewire the OD button. I have a levoc with a OD button, so I don't have this problem... BUT you can take the button out of the stock shifter, and mount it anywhere, I promise. I can put the palm of my hand on my shifter and throw it down to secon. It is set just so it won't go into first, but will hit second. It SO rocks, I now have just a little taste of what it's like to have a manual. Auto shift knobs= a very good thing. If you have any questions about doing this, just ask. Jon |
