 65mph at 2100rev???? I think theres something in my car!!, arent this revs too low |

since one month ago, my car has been like that,
most of the time i drive at 65mph, but the revs were at 2800-3000 depending the weather. but now they go to 2100 at the same speed, is there something bad? am i saving gas!!!!!!!!!  ????

hmm well 1/4 of a 15-16 gallon fillup would be about 4 gallons, 4 gallons at 20mpg (the poorest I could imagine the 1.8 getting) = 80 miles. You got 55-60, thats like 15 mpg, something is definately wrong IMO. I get upwards of 30-31 mpg with my standard, and I got around 29-30 with my automatic when it was on the road. BTW all on 87 octane.
