hmm well 1/4 of a 15-16 gallon fillup would be about 4 gallons, 4 gallons at 20mpg (the poorest I could imagine the 1.8 getting) = 80 miles. You got 55-60, thats like 15 mpg, something is definately wrong IMO. I get upwards of 30-31 mpg with my standard, and I got around 29-30 with my automatic when it was on the road. BTW all on 87 octane.

yup, thats what im getting concerned right know, now that the gas went up to more than 3 dollars!!!

i thought the 6g had a 13.2 gallon tank like the corolla has? the most i can ever put in is 10-11 gallons.

Celicas have a big tank, its 15.something

Also it isn't another gear it is just the torque converter in front of the trans locking up.

Incorrect. Overdrive and torque converter lock-up are two separate functions. Overdrive is the 4th gear in our four speed automatic transmission.

i kind of got confused there, so theres anything that has to be between those two?
