I found a celica a couple miles away, probably a 94, but the guy wants 500 for it, it has a locked motor, but everything on it looks like nice condition...
Should I fork over 500 for this car and part it out? Lemme know, I'm gonna be heading over in an hour and Ill have probably a couple days to decide. -------------------- |

Dude i have a friend that bought a 2001 Honda Prelude for 500 bucks. The owner told him that he locked up the engine and the car ketp over heating. He told my friend that what happen was that he had over heated the car and thats what caused it to lock up, cuz when it happen the car just died. He didnt want to spend the money to look into the problem to see what damage had been done, he just wanted it gone. My friend bought this car and started working on it. My Friend found out that the car didnt lock up, one of the ignition whires on the starter had come lose, he reconected the wire, the car started and sounded perfect. Then he looked into the over heating problem, found out that he was a leaky hose. he went to a Hardware store and got a hose for 10 bucks. Replaced the hose, the car didnt over heat anymore. Moral of the store for 510 bucks my friend got a 2001 Prelude with like 50,000 miles on it that ran like it was off the lot. This is a rare find, very rare. But they happen. These things are always worth looking into.
