Guys, i need help with this one, cuz im lost. My GT is giving me a Check Engine light, The read out says something like Inadequate Air Flow. Ive done a complete Wash of my Intake. I had my Tech that i go to for tools i dont have, and he said he check all the Sensors and said they all worked fine. Ive Reset the ECU 3 times now. After the Bath of the intake i got 160 miles before it went off again. Thinking it was a faulty read i reset again and got 124 miles before the light came back. Now the Next part is going to be a little hard to explain. On the Intake (After Market Intake) right after the Filter connects to the tube is a sensor. I think its either the Mass Air Flow or the Air Temp Sensor, or something. The grommet was so tore from age that it wasnt holding the sensor in place anymore and it was just kinda hanging from the Tube. I went to get a new grommet for the sensor and they didnt have any the size i needed so i got a few different sizes and rigged 2 together. Basically the issue was one was the right size for the hole in the Tube but to big to fit the Sensor and the other fit the sensor but not in the Tube. So i rigged it up so it will fit and stay sealed, way better then what it was anyways. The thing is though after that i did the final Reset of the ECU and i got 8 miles before the Light came back on. IM LOST!!!!!!!!!!! if you have any ideas help me out. Im still working on a few things but i need all the help i can get.

Thanks

Update.

I have the code that is being triped. Its P0401. EGR System Fault. The ECM has detected too little flow on the EGR system. One would think that that is the answer to my problem. But my Tech said he checked the EGR and it was working fine. Causes that are listed are

1.Blocked Passage on EGR (Which i have already cleaned out the Intake so thats not the problem)
2.Failed EGR Value( Tech said the Valve was fine but this still could be it depending on how my Tech checked it out for me)
3. EGR Solenoid Faulty( Not sure what they are talking about)
4.Failed EGR Pressure sensor where applicable( not sure what they mean )
5.Failed EGR Postition sensor where applicable(not sure what they mean)

I am getting conflicting reports about this from friends that have been working with Toyotas longer then me. My boss is a Supra nut and said that the only thing that could pull that kind of code would be the Air Charge sensor, but the read out says its an EGR problem. HELPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Im at the point to where im going to start replacing parts at random in the hopes that i stumble on it. And my instection is up in like a day and i dont know about anyone else but Houston cops love those. frown.gif Im still working on it but any help i can get would be great
