is this possile i was talking to my mechanic he said he doesnt think it will work since he doesnt know where it would go on the transmission. any help would be great thanks.

sensor must be from a 93+ mr2 e153 tranny. or 93+3sgte. i'm not sure on the solara but i highly doubt it. gotta tap into your cluster with a new wire.
