sometimes I forget the age range of the people on this forum when I read some of these comments...but I suppose it all makes sense.
Anyways I like that new coupe, I see that company making a strong change as an automaker and if Honda/toyota are not carefull they may get kicked off. Yes in time but it can happen. Look what happend to Ford. As I've said in the past I've given up on the toyota/honda sports car line upand basically jumped away from that bandwagon. It's crap really, toyota killed off the celica/mr2(s) and the only thing close to a sports coupe is a Solara which is gonna get killed this year. The tc is a joke, sorry guys but I see nothing sportish about it. It just another rahashed toyota. At least the celica had a special motor. Honda axed the S2000 and the rsx. And who knows when the next sports car will come out. I had a Z but it ended horribly. I want a gt-r but I'm scared of nissan quality, and the markups are going to be crazy for the first few years. To be honest theres really nothing good(sports car wise) for under 35k. I hyundai steps it up with their new coupe. -------------------- 2011 Spice Orange Mini Cooper

Ford started the downfall around 94 and 95, the only thing Cheve ever had going was that their parts where cheap (cuz Cheve breakdown all the time) and they where easy to work on but around the same time they went the way of FORD and started stuffing everything in as little a space they could, still easyer then FORD but not much. Toyota and Honda last a little while longer but around 2000 they started falling off too, To many computers to mess up stuff, needless plastic junk to hid the engine, and the most important part and this may sound like comspiracy, but im convinced that cars these days are built to start having major problems after 5 years of owning them. Thats a major reason i love this Year Celi, Simple! like cars should be. I will never own a new car. they are crap, plan and simple. its stupid to need to be a rocket scienist to work on a car. As for Hyundai, its a Hybrid, no torqu, they havnt figured out that part yet for these hybrids there for making them crap. |
