hello guys,
found out why i was loosing coolant. they said it's going into the engine, 'cause i have a cracked head gasket. instead of just changing the gasket i'm thinking about getting the engine rebuilt. my budget is $1500. what should i do? what type of rebuilt stuff (p&p, heads, cams, etc.) or is there another engine you guys would recommend (except for 3sgte). thanks in advance, p.s i'm trying to get this done in a week so i really need your advice quick. -------------------- |

has anyone here had their 5sfe rebuilt? what did you guys do to it? shaved the heads?p/p? anything? when i buy the used engine, i still want to get it rebuilt so that it's like new but before it goes in the bay, should i have a shop do anything special to it while it's out other than the ordinary rebuild?
