I have a factory unit, that i tapped into the rear speakers to add another amp for woofers. I know this is line output. What is the voltage? 1.
REason i ask, is because i have found a power amp, but i raise the gain level all the way, and my stock amp makes the speakers sound louder thant my sub woofs... should i use a pre amp in between? this sucks This post has been edited by njccmd2002: Dec 3, 2007 - 7:44 PM -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... QUOTE(pittfirefighter @ Dec 3, 2007 - 1:41 AM) where are you tapping into it at?? tap in at the rear speakers and it will be high level I fixed it. A while ago I installed a OEM Double din 6 disc changer from a camry. Well i had to do a custom harness. Since the deck is a 20 pin, and our decks are 15 pin (amplified systems). Thats where i tapped the wires, they come directly from the radio. Therefore they are not high level output. Now what i did, i had to go old skool, i had a Clarion 90EQ, that has outputs for woofers, so i decided to give it a try. Conected the EQ before the amp and bridged the channels. Now i have to soundproof my trunk because my car now rumbles. thanks to everybody. pic
