ARRGGGHHH!!!!!! Options

I know this is probably in the wrong section, but didn't know where else to put it. I've been working killer hours lately at work so haven't had time to check out my current, minor, "creature feature" problems with my car. Well, today, I hop in my car and the clutch is gone. I was already late to work but needed to get there. I knew my clutch was going out a while back but was just hoping it would wait another week or two so I would have time to do it. I called up my local non KY using toyota dealership to see what approx cost would be for them to do it cause I don't have the time at the moment. They said it was going to come to over $1000 for them to supply the crap factory clutch kit, labor, and resurfacing the flywheel! I asked with me supplying my own clutch and they are still wanting over $700. I figure missing a day of work is less money than the $700 I would blow but I have major projects coming due at work and don't really have the time working 12hr shifts 6 days a wk and trying to have somewhat of a social life in between lol.... well this was just a rant and rave about how I need to just open up a shop so I can put a wooden sign to put over the door that says "All ye who enter throw away your tubes of KY and grab your ankles." Ok, I'm done. It's outta my system now lol.

Yeah lol.... it was kinda crappy askin "mommy" to borrow her car today lol.... so embarassing lol, but hopefully by like feb i will have a spare beater car lol
