so its cold up here and i want to warm the car but not stay inside it as its cold.

Got 94 auto with viper alarm but no remote start.

Is there a way to just take out the key while car is running (i tried this in Park and Neutral positions and key wouldn't come out)
I also tried locking the doors but that doesn't work either when car is running.

So whats easier, a way to take out the key if there is a way or to just get remote start installed?

Haha, funny thing is that before i got my 6g, i had a Saturn, and the removal of the key while ignition ON was possible...and it wasn't a normal thing, it was actually a defect in the ignition itself =P haha i scared soo many ppl ****less while driving, i'd just go POOP and throw the key around and ppl would freak out thinking i turned the car off while the car was still moving hahaha...anyhoo..

another alternative is get one of the newer models of the compustar alarm 2 way kits...has turbo timer too, so it'll come in handy for all you ppl who have 3s-gte or 5s-fte's in ur car, and it has a crap load of features and one of them is where you can set your car where if u leave ur key in the car, u just tap the car a certain way or rhythm or w/e u set it as, and it'll unlock. This way, you leave the key in the car and keep it on and then lock the car. I got this alarm, paid 300 shipped on ebay...i haven't installed it yet, but its a lot of wiring, but its a great item to buy and has 5000ft range, this alarm also has remote start to so yeah...but check out compustar 2 way alarm kits, they got a great deal of neat features.
