 Tint Tails/Headlights |

Anyone know how to tint the tail or headlights? I've seen it done and they look nasty.

my friend tinted mine by using black spray paint and paint thinner..
now we just brushed it on.. adding coats until it was the darkness I wanted.. but now he uses the model spray kit (walmart) and it make a much more even tint.
