So it looks like I'm going to be pulling the 1/4 glass from a local junkyard and doing my own install since my wife backed into the neighbor's car and another $500 is out the window just before Christmas - gotta go cheap, now.
![]() I will be pulling the window on Friday afternoon and since neither the Toyota manual or Haynes have anything on removing/installing quarter glass, I have a few questions: 1. How long should I expect to need for removal? 2. Complete list of required tools to take with me? 3. Step by step (remove this, then that, etc) would be really helpful. 4. What do I need to take from the donar car besides the glass, if anything? 5. Tips on installation, along with needed materials (sealer, etc). Thanks! |
