 fiberglass, should i use etching primer? |

mk im goign to be painting my car in the next month finally its taken me a while to track down all of the componets for my transformation. i have fiberglass fenders, hood, wing, and rear extenstions and when i go to bare metal i use etching primer to get a good bite on the sheetmetal. my question is should i use the etching primer for fiberglass? will it hurt it? is there a primer that works better for fiberglass? ive painted from bare metal before just not fiberglass and wasnt sure if it would damange it in the process. it seems thats there is like a gel coat on top and i wasnt sure if this was primable or shoudl i prep it with etching primer.

etching primer should be perfectly fine.
you would want to use 1 single type of primer the entire way across the car other wise you'll get color distortions between sections of the car |
