Trying to diagnose my problem and I can't seem to figure it out. My car won't reach its operating temperature unless I got it opened up on the highway. As soon as I slow down the temperature drops. Any suggestions?

Gonna go with its cold as **** out. Mine is the same way, its cold as hell and wind breeze at driving speed doesn't help either. My temp gauge sits just below 1/3 line.
Only thing you can really do is change your oil to something suitable for winter temps. A stock motor will never see the temps in the winter that it sees in the summer. Your radiator is going to cool your motor alot more with 10*F then it would in 90*F. -------------------- |
