alright guys so after a huge deal with my valve cover leaking and all kinds of trouble... it turns out that when i took my oil pan off to inspect everything... i found a piston rod end cap just hanging out in there with the two bolts as well.... so my number two piston is shot i believe and who knows about the other pistons or the crank for that matter.... so the whole engine is getting pulled out as we speak and torn down... currently i have forged pistons but i need to know what all i should do while i'm tearing this thing down...all the seals and gaskets were just replaced (within 200 miles) and the valves cleaned up and redone... so i would rather not take the valves apart... thanks a lot... check my profile for the specs of the engine (i'm just thankful that my $1500 turbo is still in good condition... i think)

that motors been rebuilt before. chances are that your bottom end issue will come back yet again. a quick and dirty bearing swap is just going to come back to haunt you later on.
