so i painted my body components and did many layers. the color matches perfectly but i just don't have the gloss or shine to it. Is there another paint thing i was suppose to buy for this effect? the color is just flat and need the relfection like the rest of the car.

Can you guys help me out in what i need to do in order to get the glossy look to it? it'll help a lot.

go by yourself a can of dupi-color clear coat and lightly spray about 2-3 coast of that on there, wet sand it with some 1000-1200 grit sand paper and spray one more nice coat on it...it should look pretty close to the rest of the car after that

what exactly is wet sanding? is it different from dry sanding? is it like wetting the paper while sanding?
i sanded them after painting them once and the color had some dots in them. probably do another layer of paint and then buff them up. after that i'll add some clear coat and buff them up again
