ever since i installed the intake in october my celica is getting louder and louder. at first it wasnt really loud unless my rpms were up but it was no where near as loud as now. I know that since it is colder now air is more condense and more air going in means louder intake but this is sorta crazy. right now it sounds like i have an exhaust and im so paranoid when i see cops cuz im afraid they would pull me over and ticket me cuz i threw away my stock box
 . it doesnt seem like the noise is coming from the intake but more from the engine... what do you guys think is going on?

i've check the exhaust but i dont see any holes in it. how else would i kno if there is an exhaust leak? when i check under the hood the noise is not as loud as it when i check under the car. the noise gets louder the more closer i am to the cat too. say if we rule out the exhaust leak could there be anything else that would make my car very loud and throaty?
