 Taking stock pint stripe off |

I wanna take my stock pint stripe off but the only thing holding me back is fear of there being a bright white spot where the stripe used to be (my cars white)
how did others go about in doing this? |

How did u get the stipe off? Did it just peel off or did u use something to peel it off?
