mad.gif So after installing some new strut mounts to fix the clunking, since I neglected to do when lowering my car, I closed my hatch for the night. The next day I came outside to pop my hatch open to put stuff in there, my hatch wont open. I first inserted my key into the key hole and turned it to the right but the hatch wont pop up like usual. The key hole inert is stuck in the horizontal position (normally vertical) and wont budge. So I go inside and try to pop it from the inside and the latch thing near the driver seat has zero tension what so ever. All I hear is click click click when ever I lift on it. So now I'm left without a working hatch. I know the key hole isnt frozen, maybe the locking mechanism is broken, but how the heck am I going to open my hatch? Its just annoying me. I want to change out a bulb in my taillights since one is out, but can't get ot it. Someone please help?

lubricating the release handle and the latch assembly itself should help, it's less tension on the cable. other than that, IPB Image.
