Yeah, that's exactly why this political system is screwy.
You won't vote for someone because of his/her supporters? And you won't vote for someone because it'll give the Democrats a vote because nobody else will vote for this guy? If everyone voted for him who wanted him, then it would be a clear indicator of what this country wants, instead people fall into line with candidates who can't do the job. I won't vote for Hilary, but I will vote for Obama. -------------------- |

They elected Bush when they as a group would have overwhelming would have favored Gore (and elected him) if it had been a two person race. So, what is screwier? Supporting your first choice understanding that your third choice will be elected or supporting and electing your second choice?
