hey did anyone see the 6th gen celica in super street about a month ago? it said it had a veilside 6 speed transmition. does anyone know where i can get ahold of one?

My dear... Like i sat, the 7th generation gearbox wil fit the 7afe perfectly.
If you go to your toyota dealer and let them look up the tranny numbers, they are the same. The G6 TOYOTA COROLLA '97 - '99 olso has the same tranny and also wil fit the 7afe motor. The 6-speed tranny is no overdrive ( the 6th gear is the same as the 5th gear in the 5-speed tranny), it does not increse horsepower and will handel the same as the 5-speed tranny. But it's faster shifting and you can say, ive got a 6-speed!!! |
