im haveing a hard time to get my celi to start at anytime during the day except for if i just turned it off then it fires up with one crank of the motor. i understand its cold now but i dont remeber having this problem last year. i have a small bit of corosion (sp) on my battery termanals which im goign to be cleaning off tomarrow and the battery is less then 6 months old. i tend to go through batterys quickly for some reason. i dont think my altinator is going bad since i can start the car and disconect the negitive wire on my battery and it still runs fine. i was wondering if theres a way to test the starter or if theres a better way to test the altinator/battery. im usually pretty good on working on my own car but this ones got me stumped. any advice would be welcomed thx in advance
